CANADIAN BOBSLEIGH ATHLETES TAKE FINAL RUNS OF SEASON IN VISA CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS AT WHISTLER SLIDING CENTRE

WHISTLER, B.C.—Canada’s top men and women bobsleigh athletes will race head-to-head down the fastest track in the world at the Whistler Sliding Centre in hopes of claiming the 2009 Visa Canadian Championship title.
The men’s two-man and women’s races will be held on Saturday, March 21 from 6-7:30 p.m., while the four-man race will be held on Sunday, 5-6 p.m., to officially wrap up the season.
The Canadian Championships will be the final opportunity for public, who were not lucky enough to get one of the 3,000 tickets to the sold out Bobsleigh World cup race, to watch the an official bobsleigh competition at the Whistler Sliding Centre prior to the 2010 Olympic competition.
The first 1,000 spectators will be able to watch the Canadian Championships for just $5. Admission must be paid at the entrance of the venue.
