Bobsleigh Athletes Kick Off International Training Week in Whistler with Media Availability

WHISTLER, B.C.—Canada’s bobsleigh athletes will slide into the Whistler Sliding Centre to participate in International Training Week, and the final training session before the start of the World Cup season, November 2, 2009.
The 20 men and women that will compete on the World Cup in bobsleigh will also hold their final media availability at the Whistler Sliding Centre until they return for the Olympic Winter Games in February 2010.
Interviews with Canadian bobsleigh athletes will be held at the men’s start of the Olympic Track at the Whistler Sliding Centre at 12 noon PST. Media may also take photos and get b-roll of the Canadians sliding on the track at 4 p.m. PST.
The Canadian Bobsleigh Team will begin the track to the Olympic Winter Game with their first World Cup race in Park City, Utah, November 9-14, 2009.
