BACKGROUND:
Lyndon played football for five years at the University of Saskatchewan before receiving a call from Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton urging him to give the sport of bobsled a try. While training as a potential brakeman at a development camp in 2004, Lyndon pulled his hamstring which forced a change in plans. Instead of becoming a brakeman, Lyndon decided to attend the driver’s school.

Lyndon has developed into one of the top pilots in Canada having raced on the America’s Cup circuit in 2004, and the Europa Cup circuit over the last two years while also gaining World Cup experience. Lyndon continued to progress throughout his first full season on the World Cup last year where he finished 17th overall in the two-man event, and 24th overall in the four-man standings.

With a goal of competing for Canada at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Lyndon will pilot the Canada 1 sled on the World Cup circuit this season.
