BACKGROUND:
Jenny Ciochetti split time with Heather Moyse pushing the Canada 1 sled during her sophomore season on the World Cup circuit in 2007-08. With pilot Helen Upperton, Jenny has enjoyed great success on the Canadian Bobsleigh Team, sliding to the podium three times in five races including two World Cup victories. Jenny also teamed up with Helen Upperton to finish fourth at the 2008 World Championships.

An outstanding athlete, Jenny was a top sprinter for the University of Alberta. She was recruited to the world of bobsleigh one year ago by Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton’s Development Head Coach, Matt Hindle, to participate in one of the national team testing camps. Her strong results launched her into the top group of an already strong pool of national team brakemen. Jenny is now determined to push to compete for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
