BACKGROUND:
Like many of the world’s best bobsleigh athletes, Sabrina’s athletic background began as a high-performance track and field athlete. Sabrina specialized in long jump while competing on the University of Windor’s Track and Field Team. She was originally encouraged to try bobsleigh by Canadian Olympic pilot, Suzanne Gavin-Hlady, who also attended the University of Windsor. However, Sabrina was focused on pursuing her track and field career until the 2006 National Championships in Saskatchewan where she was recruited to bobsleigh.

Sabrina accomplished her first major goal in the sport of bobsleigh by making the World Cup Team. She looks forward to competing in her rookie season on the World Cup while pushing Lisa Szabon and the Canada 3 sled.

When not pursuing her Olympic dream, Sabrina spends time substitute teaching. She is qualified to teach high school biology and phys ed with her degrees in Kinesiology and Education.
